Friends, as of about one hour ago I am back in business.  Such a relief.  It appears that while our neighbors were getting hooked up with their new cable and internet service, the technicians disrupted our service on accident.  Good grief.  Four days later and I've gotten mostly caught up on all work (that I could do without internet) and a clean refrigerator.  So there's that. :)

And...there is this kid.  Cute as can be.  He was happy the minute his mom brought him down from his nap, until I walked out the door.  Which in turn, made me happy for the rest of the day.  Thanks so much for a fun session!  I'm already looking forward to your one year session!

Ay, ay, Cap'n.  My heart melted just as soon as I walked in the door.  This child has the most sweetest, genuine little face ever.  I could not get enough.  The entire session my heart was in a puddle.  This baby bear pilot is one of our beloved Baby Steppers and he's following in the footsteps of his handsome as ever big brother.  At just barely six months, he is sitting up like it is his job.   Way to go, Colton!  By the way, the cooler weather has forced us indoors some.  But I've gotta say that I'm kinda digging it.  Just look at those expressive, sparkly eyes.  Have you scheduled your winter/spring session yet?

p.s.  Just look at this awesome inquisitive look baby brother is giving me!  These two are going to make a great team.  I'm saving a couple brother pics for Christmas cards, but just had to share this one! ;)

 Oh, sweet baby cheeks.  How precious is this little baby face? This beautiful family came from out of town for this session and the gloomy weather early in the weekend tried to disrupt our plans.  But as you can see, the sun was shining when we met and the session turned out perfectly.  Thanks for being flexible.  It was a pleasure to meet and work with you.  p.s.  JHP fans, stay tuned for a glimpse of this beauty's handsome cousin coming later this week. ;)

This post should probably come with a big fat WARNING!  I'm not sure you can handle the cuteness oozing from your screen right now?  How are you?  Are you still there?  I mean, goodness, these children are over-the-top-ADORABLE!  Yes?  We met to capture Baby Sister at 6 months.  Brother at 2 years.  And Big Sister just for fun.  And fun it was!!  I know I don't need to say it...you know what's coming, don't you?  I love my job!  Kids, thank you for being rockstars.  And family, thank you for being so cute!

Isn't this just a precious child? I loved everything about this session.  It just screams PURE BABY to me.  One of my favorite types of Baby Step sessions.  Her perfectly soft baby skin.  Those eyes that sparkle and tell a story on their own.  The soft white and pink.  The white natural light that flooded in those windows.  Those baby rolls.  Oh my goodness.  We decided to wait just a bit to make sure this baby was sitting up and it WAS TOTALLY WORTH IT!  I know Momma is dying to see these sneaks so I'm not going to waste anymore time.  I'm off to click that "publish" button.  Thanks friends, I hope you love them!

Seriously? This is what "work" looks like to me, folks. My goodness. I am blessed. He's a cutie, that much is true. I just knew that he'd be sitting up at 6 months, just like his beautiful big sister was at her 6 month Baby Step session. How fun to have a second go round with this fabulous family. Last week, we went home to visit my parents in Michigan. I was able to squeeze in a handful of sessions. The first one went to my cousin and his beautiful family. I always love the chance to spend time with them and capture their family through my lens. We were blessed with a dry, calm evening but the chill in the air kept us from spending too much time. So we made quick work of it and got the job done.

Thanks for being patient while my computer was getting work done. I've got a few more MI sessions to share. As well, as a couple sessions from this week. Keep checking back for more!

Allow me to introduce the baby brother of one of our very own Baby Step graduates. And, actually, they are cousins to the cutie in my last post "i'm smitten". He's got those same beautiful blue eyes and double dimples as big sis. We didn't need to travel far for their session. This is their backyard, folks. It was so fun to see these cute kids! Thanks for spending a bit of the morning with me.

She is soooo cute! This teeny, tiny little thing is a sitting up champion at 6 months old. No surprise here, though. At her 3 month session, she was practically doing crunches trying to sit herself up. I've said it before, 6 month sessions are so fun when the babies are sitting up.

Campus was in all of it's Fall glory. Colorful leaves still clinging to the trees. And crunchy ones beneath our feet. Baby girl with her auburn hair and dark pink tights fit right in.

Just look at that perfect little pout. She's a beauty, M &C. Thanks so much!

I spent the weekend with family. Close to 50 of us gathered for a family reunion weekend. To say that my girls had a blast would be falling short. This little babydoll belongs to my cousin, and her husband. It won't be long and she'll be running down the hill and hopping on the go-cart with all the other little ones. For now, she's working on crawling. :) I know you just want to pinch those checks. Don't you?

Baby girl has the cutest dimple. I went back to the Gardens to meet up with them for Baby girl's 2nd Baby Step. I just LOVE this place and this door. Love! Would you just look at those lovable baby rolls on her arms and legs?! She had just started sitting up the week before we met. I love it when my 6MO Baby Steppers are sitting.
