Oh, boy!  Look at this happy kid.  He's our newest graduate from Baby Steps.  Is it just me or are these babies growing up fast?!  And really when I think about it, it just last week (okay maybe it's been a little longer than that) that we finished up Big Brother's Baby Steps at this very location.  And now we're celebrating his 3rd Birthday?! Time flies.  Good thing we have photographs to help us remember.  Huh?  It's been another wonderful year with this sweet, gorgeous, fun, kind family.  I can't thank you enough.  Happy Birthday, boys!!

While visiting friends up on the lake, we sneeked down to the beach for a few pictures. Little Mister gave us a run for our money, didn't he Brenda?! Being that cute, he's easily forgiven, though. :)

So another one of my Baby Steppers has celebrated his 1st birthday. These birthday's are always bittersweet for me. It's so exciting and there's so much to celebrate, on one hand. And on the other hand, it causes me to think about our previous sessions documenting those special milestones. From precious, sleepy newborn to that dapper hat. Then the sitting up and that "look: at 9 months. Really, I'm blown away at just how fast the days can pass. So thankful for photos and images saved to help remember. It's been a great year, family. Thanks so much.

I couldn't decide which ones were my favorite from this engagement beach session in MI, so I am just showing them all! Not really all of them but a TON. Erin and Nate were terrific. So in love. Nate planned this super sweet, super romantic proposal on the beach in Virginia and we sort of recreated the moment here. There was a little guitar, a little swing dancing, a little snuggling, a lot of smiling and a lot of laughing. Perfect recipe for a rockin' engagement session.
