This handsome guy is officially a Baby Step Graduate.  It has been such a fun year watching him grow.  He is off and running and I know he's going places.  He is in good company with Baby Step Alumni/Big Sister around.  Thanks for a great year, friends.  It's been a pleasure working with your beautiful family.

I'm pretty sure that the babies had a meeting.  A meeting to discuss having their 1st birthday parties all at the same time and graduating from JHP's Baby Steps all. at. the. same. time.  It's almost more than my sentimental heart can bear.  They are all just growing on up.  Which, of course, is amazing and awesome.  But it's also a little hard on the heart.  Of course, though, we wouldn't want to have it any other way. So with that...Happy 1st Birthday, Cory!  Those blue eyes will take you far.  I'm sure of it. ;)

Oh, boy!  Look at this happy kid.  He's our newest graduate from Baby Steps.  Is it just me or are these babies growing up fast?!  And really when I think about it, it just last week (okay maybe it's been a little longer than that) that we finished up Big Brother's Baby Steps at this very location.  And now we're celebrating his 3rd Birthday?! Time flies.  Good thing we have photographs to help us remember.  Huh?  It's been another wonderful year with this sweet, gorgeous, fun, kind family.  I can't thank you enough.  Happy Birthday, boys!!

Little Momma has celebrated her 1st Birthday and has stepped right on out of Baby Steps.  Oh, it's been a fun year.  My cheeks actually hurt after a session with her and her super cute fam.  Happy Birthday, Arianna!!

Baby Briar Biscuit at the Beach.  Lots of B's.  She looked just darling in her pure white dress at the beach.  It's been such a fun year watching this little gal grow.  I secretly love watching the parents grow, too.  This one has been especially neat since I've known Jamie for awhile.  It does my heart so good to see the amazing mother she has become.  She is so in love with her little family.  And she's incredibly in tune and attentive to her darlin'.  So incredibly sweet to witness.  Talking about sweet, I can't leave out daddy.  He's got a confident, calm to him that is just what his girls need.  And now I better push "publish" before I start to get too sentimental.  Happy 1st Birthday Miss Briar!

This session felt like it was a long time coming.  Even if it really wasn't that long.  This sweetheart's aunt contacted me last Christmas after she had found my website.  She wanted to purchase a gift certificate for her niece as a Christmas gift.  What a perfect gift!! Wink.Wink.

It was such a pleasure to meet this fun family.  We got to know each other while we walked around campus.  That's one of my favorite parts of my job.  Just getting to know these fantastic families.  I realize time and time again what a small world we live in.  So many interesting connections.  And so many adorable little people!

P.S.  We started our session at the Grotto, where we got some beautiful images with the candles in the background.  A little birdie told me that those images would be some of the favs from the session. I adore that little inquisitive look on her face in that image below.

You know when I leave a session with four cupcakes to take home...it's been a good one. :)  Precious Baby Isaac has graduated from our Baby Steps program.  Cue the Pomp and Circumstance. 

I just love this family and am so grateful that we've had the privilege to be part of their story.  Like the song says, God "you are good and your mercy lasts forever."
