This darling (one of our early Baby Steppers) has turned 5!!  She's such a pumpkin with so much personality.  Anna Banana I'm loving watching you grow.

In other news, we are outside.  Despite the snow that fell last night, Spring has arrived in Michiana.  It's been just warm enough for us to begin holding session outdoors and I'm cheering with the rest of you!!!  Stay tuned for some more outdoor sessions.

Won't you help me wish this darling Baby Step Alumni a happy 2nd birthday!  I'm positive her mom will agree; it seems like just the other day we were capturing her newborn photos in that same exact spot.  I know I sound like a broken record, but I think it comes with the profession.  It is just plain crazy how quickly time flies by.  The flip side of that is we get the amazing privilege to watch these little babies turn into incredible little people.  Beautiful people.  Beautiful people who shoot me these happy expressions (like the one above) and sweet, soulful expressions (like the one below).

Maria, I hope you have a super fun birthday party this evening!  I hear the giggles and belly laughs already.

Baby Step Graduate alert!  My heart just about bursts when I get to revisit our special babies.  We've been watching this sweetheart grow for four years already.  Anna is such a doll and she did a super job.  Now won't you help me with her a happy fourth birthday?!

Would you look at this darling snowbunny?!  Cute as a button!  Or cute as a snowbunny!?  Either way, I'm in love with this It's my Birthday session from earlier this week.  We had to do some scheduling shuffling to make sure we had snow on the ground.  Silly Indiana weather.  Totally worth it!  Love the beautiful snow cover.  Love her soulful grin.  And beautiful blue eyes.  I'm happy to be back doing what I love.

I said on Facebook that this one is a rockstar who loves raisins.  He really did a fabulous job at his 2 year It's my Birthday session.  Just look at him, below, rocking the serious look!  I love it!  Thanks for another fun session, friends.

Would you look at this cutie boy in the midst of all the fall leaves?!  He's just days away from the big #1 so won't you help me wish him a VERY HAPPY 1ST BIRTHDAY?!  He was a walking pro which meant that mom and I got quite a workout, because he was mainly walking...away.  That's, oftentimes,  how these one year old sessions go, though, so no worries at all.   Momma?  You'll have to dig these first birthday photos out when he becomes a Domer himself, just like daddy.

I don't know about you but I'm ready to jump on the too-cute-for-his-own-shoes train car with this fella. Those blue eyes just melt me. Mr C did such a fine job at his 2 year session. I still can't believe this is our little Baby Stepper from not too long ago. Wow. Time flies. Thanks for a fun session, guys!

Won't you please help me wish this delightful young man a Happy 4th Birthday?! Oh, did we have a good morning! He loved all my jokes (at least he humored me and giggled at the right time). Momma had the perfect outfits chosen. The weather was picture perfect. Sigh...I love my job!

Isn't she something? Something beautiful! I had a great morning with her and her mom earlier this week. I heard all about her upcoming 4th birthday party, and how she loves to toss rocks into the pond with her dad. Such a cute kid. Thanks so much for a great session, guys. It was wonderful to see you!

I just love my visits with her. The camera just loves her right up. She's spunky! And fun! And can go from a fuss cry to a wide smile in a matter of seconds. Seriously, the bottom picture...on the bench. The frames on either side of this one were a fuss cry and arms up "mommy pick me up". Love that she took time to flash this grin. Thanks for a fun session! I can't wait to see how cute 3 will be!
