Briar is five and a half years old.  So we needed a photo session to document this awesome time in her life.  She is such a cool kid.  I think you can tell from these pics!

Sweet Ella.  She is full of life and full of joy.  We had a gorgeous but chilly walk around campus when we met up for her ten year photo session.  I just love the look of a winter session with that golden late afternoon sunlight.  The scarf and the furry sweater were the perfect accesories to Ella's beatiful smile.  Thanks for a fun session, friends!

Elsie is such a sweetheart.  She's almost seven months old, I believe.  We met up for her Baby Step "sitting" session last week, after rescheduling due to blizzard conditions on two previous occassions.  And what do you know, on the way there what started out as a sunny day drive turned into near white out conditions. Thankfully, it didn't last long and I was back to a sunny day drive within minutes.  Just goes to show you how crazy Indiana weather can be.

It is such a treat for me to visit with this little ones several times during their first year.  They are just precious. I gush and gush over each one.  Little children are a gift from God.

 We have such a little gem in Potawatomi Conservatories.  For a small entrance fee, we get warmth, and green and light.  Three things that can be hard to come by in the depths of our long Indiana winters.  I loved my time spent with these cute fellas and their parents.  We explored.  And smiled.  And ran off a little energy.  And I clicked.  Capturing all of the fun.

Precious, precious Finnley.  She's our newest member of the Baby Step family.  I can.not get enough of that perfect small face.  So excited to watch her grow this year!

Sam is our newest Baby Step graduate.  Also?  He is the epitome of adorable.  I mean, have a look for yourself.  It's been such a treat to watch him grow through his first year alongside his darling family.  As I often do when this milestone is reached, I remember back to his newborn session and then his late summer session when he was just, just learning to sit up.  Oh what fun!  Thanks for a super year, friends.  Sam, you're off to a great start.

This happened in three and half minutes the other day.  Wearing their clothes from school, we combed their hair and ran to the backyard.  A quick snowy session.  I love the look of snowy sessions.  Hats and scarfs.  Chilly, silly cute smiles.  Hope you are keeping warm on these bitter cold days!

Would you look at this darling snowbunny?!  Cute as a button!  Or cute as a snowbunny!?  Either way, I'm in love with this It's my Birthday session from earlier this week.  We had to do some scheduling shuffling to make sure we had snow on the ground.  Silly Indiana weather.  Totally worth it!  Love the beautiful snow cover.  Love her soulful grin.  And beautiful blue eyes.  I'm happy to be back doing what I love.

The sun was shining and fresh snow had just fallen.  It was a beautiful sight to see.  Add in these smiling faces and we were set.  As a mom to twin girls and older sister to two more girls, it is always fun to get a peek into life with boys.  And these boys are darling!  And such good sports in the cold.
