Let's welcome this darling little guy, our newest Baby Step member.  Graham is following in Big Sister's footsteps and is a wonderful addition to the JHP Baby Step family.  Because of some extra time in the hospital, we had to postpone our initial meeting.  He was around three weeks old when we met.  And this sweet boy stayed awake for his first photo session, which only means we get to see those gorgeous eyes and curious looks.  Lucky us! I had a great visit with Hannah Grace and her sweet momma.  She's joining our Baby Step family at four months and following in her big brothers' footsteps.  This sweet girl was singing and talking my ear off for most of our session.  I'm not sure if she was entirely happy the entire time but my tricks were just enough to cause a few smiles.  I'm already looking forward to our next session.

Allow me to introduce Baby Samuel.  Don't you just want to give want to give him a little snuggle and smooch?  We are so pleased to welcome Baby Sam into our Baby Step family.  He was two weeks on the dot when we met for his newborn session.  Such a cutie.

I fell in love with this darling baby boy last week.  He was sleepy.  And cute.  And adorable.  And precious.  Oh, sweet baby cheeks.  How precious is this little baby face? This beautiful family came from out of town for this session and the gloomy weather early in the weekend tried to disrupt our plans.  But as you can see, the sun was shining when we met and the session turned out perfectly.  Thanks for being flexible.  It was a pleasure to meet and work with you.  p.s.  JHP fans, stay tuned for a glimpse of this beauty's handsome cousin coming later this week. ;)

A whole lotta LOVE. And a whole lotta FUN.  A whole lotta GOT-YOUR-BACK.  A whole lotta GIVE AND TAKE.  A whole lotta GIVING A HARD TIME. A whole CHEERING SECTION.  A whole lotta BLESSINGS.  When you are born into (or married) into a family with seven children, these are some of the things I believe you can count on.  This large family session is something that I don't do a lot of these days, but when one of my favorite families calls...I answer with a big ol' YES!

Just as soon as Momma swung open the front door, this little pumpkin on her hip flashed me the brightest smile. Lit up his entire little face. But then we talked and he said, "Miss Jenny? What do you think about my soulful look? Do you think we could try a few like that?" And I said, "I'd love to!" Maybe it didn't go down just like, that but he's a beautiful child (can I say that about a boy?) (just like his beautiful brothers!) so he can pull off any look. For sure. The drive out to the country was breath taking this night. Loads of sunshiney goodness. Farmers harvesting their crops. Blue skies. Soft breezes. My kind of evening. My night just kept getting better, when I was greeted by these three beautiful ladies. We were minutes into our session, when Big Sister piped up with "I'm a Country Girl." Loved. It. I'm a country girl at heart, so you know these images make me smile.

Isn't she precious?! There is no missing these blue eyes, friends. I think I'll call them Bethel Blue (eyes). Fitting since that is where we held our session and where her parents fell in love during their college years. These guys are special people and special friends. It's been a pleasure to watch them become parents. And this gal is nothing short of adorable and she's going places, for sure. I, for one, cannot wait to see where those widdle feet take her. At just 6 short months old, these blue eyes are no stranger to this blog. I, for one, am always look forward to his sessions. He was working hard on his sitting skills and sometimes smiles are a little hard to come by when they are concentrating so hard on a new skill. But you wouldn't necessarily know it by looking at these images. Regardless, he's darling. Those blue eyes slay me. And just look at those arms. Those fingers. Those toes. Sigh.
