This little man with his soulful dark brown eyes is has reached his nine month milestone.  We met up on the campus of Notre Dame and had a beautiful day for our walk.  The wind was blowing but the sun was shining it's heart out and we'll call that beautiful.  Kyper's sweet big sister had a milestone of her own as she recently  celebrated the her third birthday.  She's one of our beloved Baby Steppers and is one of Reagan and Reilly's special friends.  I think momma and daddy will agree...that gummy smile below was worth all the behind the camera goofiness.  So worth it.

There has been a lot of rescheduling going on over here, friends.  A lot.  This silly spring weather is keeping me on my toes.  We'll get there, though.  Thanks for continuing to check in.  As soon as the sun starts to shine again I will have more cute faces to share.  Stay tuned!

I left this session with a huge smile on my face.  The boys are darling and sweet, sweet, sweet.  They take right after their momma. :)  This session leans more towards a lifestyle session and it was such a pleasure to be invited in to capture their life through my lens.  Books and toys.  Machines and trucks.  Peekaboo and a little playful cuddling.  All surround by a big dose of LOVE.  It's a beautiful thing.

Little boys in their Easter outfits are one of my favorite things.  So cute.  Little Lucas is 9 months old already.  Amazing, isn't it?  He had apparently decided that he was going to go with the grin for his session, no big mouth smiles for this chap.   I like a 9 month old guy who knows what he wants and follows through. :)

This fabulous fall family will surely put a smile on your face this Monday morning. I met up with this fun group last week and though the wind was howling, we came away with some beautiful images. Won't you help me welcome this adorable baby boy back to our blog. He's 9 months old now and is sweet as can be. I can't help but think back to his big sister's baby step sessions and see how much they resemble each other. And how much they differ. It's always a treat to visit this family and I can't believe that our next session will be the last in this year of Baby Steps.

My first session of 2011 is in the books, folks. And boy, was it a good one. We met up for this sweetie's 9 month milestone earlier this week. Baby girl was a star! She did so well. She's growing up so quickly and is just as cute as can be. I wish I would have gotten a shot of her big sis who was squatting beside me with her own kid camera. I love my little assistants. :)

Thanks for a super start to the new year! I could not have asked for a better session. Also...I can not get enough of those gorgeous dark eyes and the cheeks?? Oh my, those cheeks.

I cannot get enough of these long lashes and stunning blue eyes. After rescheduling for sickness, etc. a few times, I'm happy to report that "third time is a charm." For sure. I even came away with some delicious Pumpkin Whoopie Pies! Thanks for a great session and a great treat!

ChooChoo! If you're like me (a parent of young children) you may immediate beginning singing the Disney Choo Choo Soul song from Playhouse Disney when you hear the words "all aboard!" Makes me smile...and so does this handsome fella. He was woken up from a cozy nap and in a matter a minutes sitting in front of a railroad crossing sign handing out sweet little smiles. I was impressed, to say the least. That's not to say I don't have a fair share of "Lady, you are CRAZY" looks to weed through but he worked it out. See for yourself. "One, baby. Baby two. Baby, baby we love you." I know these words by heart, after reading and re-reading this sweet story to my twin baby girls. And though these sweeties are not actually twins. They are two babies and I think they'd get a kick out of the story.

Lucky, lucky me! I know. I spend my days walking around beautiful Fall scenes with cute smiles like these coming my way. Somebody's got to do it! ;) At 9 months old, he's just delightful. Even in sprinkles and windy gusts, he kept right on smiling. Such a charmer.

I can not believe that this cutiefella is 9 months old already. These Baby Steppers just seem to grow up at lighting speeds. I do believe that their mommas and daddies would agree. I enjoy seeing the changes that they are making, though. This milestone brought sitting up and blonde hair. He's still the same cute little "Do0-dee" boy though. ;) He's got a beautiful family. Wouldn't ya say?!

She's 9 months old and she's such a pumpkin pie! I could not stop calling her "Pumpkin."..she didn't respond. Oh, well. :) Her coloring, that cute sweater, and the colors we found at the park just have me thinking fall. Lucky me, got in a quick squeeze when I offered to take her while Mom and Dad got up from sitting for a picture. Love.

This one, he's got the blue-bluest eyes. And at 9 months, he's got busy-busy feet. Mom mentioned this fact in an email before we met up, so we came ready with a game plan. The game plan included some cute, small toys that could be included in the picture. It also included some breaks for snacks and playtime. A rocking chair that baby boy enjoys rocking in. A basket to keep him for a moment. And, maybe most importantly, a mom and a photographer who were ready for lots of replays. Our game plan definitely helped us earn the Win.

We headed back to the site where his family session was held earlier this summer. Remember the "honeydew" family? I'm loving working this beautiful family. Can't believe our next session will be 1 year already. Wow!! :)
