Whoa Nelly, was I spoiled this weekend!!  I had a blast working in this beautiful downtown location with these over-the-top ADORABLE girls.  It was a special treat to work in this light filled modern location; a bit different than my usual backdrops.  But I LOVED it! These sweethearts could not have done a better job!  Serious rockstars.  Makes my job a breeze.  Thanks so much, friends, for fabulous session.  You guys were amazing. :)

A whole lotta LOVE. And a whole lotta FUN.  A whole lotta GOT-YOUR-BACK.  A whole lotta GIVE AND TAKE.  A whole lotta GIVING A HARD TIME. A whole CHEERING SECTION.  A whole lotta BLESSINGS.  When you are born into (or married) into a family with seven children, these are some of the things I believe you can count on.  This large family session is something that I don't do a lot of these days, but when one of my favorite families calls...I answer with a big ol' YES!

I can't help but smile when I think about these girls and their family.  I always love my time spent with them.  It was a special treat this visit that we got to go outside without coats.  In March.  :)  Baby Sister is eight months old (almost 9) and she's got things all figured out.  Soon she'll be running circles around her big sisters.  Thanks for a fun visit friends!  This year is just flying by!

It was a gorgeous early, early spring morning.  Technically, still winter my girls will remind you.  I was so excited for the unexpected chance to get outdoors with these cuties.  Brother is one of our Baby Step Graduates and has just kept right on growing.  He's celebrating 2 years.  And Big Sister Ella is celebrating 4 years!  I just love these two kids and their green and blue against the neutral background.  The sun on the hair just warms me right up, too.  Thanks for a fun session, friends!

This family has grown by 4 feet since I first met them a couple of years ago.  4 super cute baby brother feet, I should add.  I just love this family and it's always great to see them.  They have the most beautiful eyes;  The whole bunch of them.  And JHP loves beautiful eyes. Will you help me give a quiet welcome to this sweetheart-cutiepie-darling-precious little bebe.  Maria is our very newest Baby Stepper.  This girl has the most perfect chubby, kissable cheeks you can imagine.  I was lucky enough to get in quite a few snuggles during this session and I was in heaven.  I'm so excited to watch you grow, Maria, but for now just enjoy your sleepy nap.

I'm so excited to welcome this Baby Step graduate back to the blog!  She just turned 3 and she brought her momma and daddy along to help celebrate in pictures this milestone.  We met up at the Potawatomi Conservatories in South Bend and were happy to find lots of light and lots of green.  Add in this smiling face and curls and we were set.  Thanks so much for another fun session, friends!

On another note:  It's not too late to schedule for this summer.  I still have a  2 weekday sessions and one Saturday in July, and one Saturday in August.  Email for more info!!

 I am SO excited!  I'm dreaming of long, hot, sunshiney days and spending time with Michiana's Most Fantastic families! Summer Opening will be held on Monday, March 5, 2012.  Here are the details:

• I will begin scheduling May - August 2012 appointments via email on Monday, March 5th @ 9AM sharp.
• This Opening is OPEN TO EVERYONE! Existing clients and those new to JHP.
• At 9AM on Monday morning email me with your interest, weekday/weekend preference, month preference, who will be photographed, package choice, location ideas, etc.  I will respond with possible dates and times and you should respond with your choice.  I will respond in the order I receive the emails but will confirm with those who reply first.  
• Be sure to provide an email address that you will have easy access to all day.
• Current prices found under the investment tab.  Notice while there is not an increase in rates, there is a small change in the mileage compensation.  There will now be a small travel fee for locations further than 20 miles away (one way) from my home in Mishawaka. Changed from 25 to 20. 
• A $50 non-refundable deposit is due to confirm every appointment (excluding follow-up Baby Step appointments).  The deposit is due within 10 days, after which I will open the date to others interested.
• The next Opening will take place in early July for August through November 2012.
• In the past these appointments have filled very quickly.  Please follow each step listed to better your odds at receiving an appointment.  Please feel free to contact me with any questions you have before Monday.  

Thank you for sharing your lives with me and my lens.  I count it such a privilege to get a peek at your lives from the inside.  Thank you for the friendship and support that you have shown me through this journey officially started back in September 2008.  It's been an amazing ride and I cannot wait for Summer 2012!
