This fabulous fall family will surely put a smile on your face this Monday morning. I met up with this fun group last week and though the wind was howling, we came away with some beautiful images. Won't you help me wish this darling little fella a very happy 1st birthday?! We saw him just a few months ago and it's amazing the transformation that can take place in that short amount of time. Just as soon as Momma swung open the front door, this little pumpkin on her hip flashed me the brightest smile. Lit up his entire little face. But then we talked and he said, "Miss Jenny? What do you think about my soulful look? Do you think we could try a few like that?" And I said, "I'd love to!" Maybe it didn't go down just like, that but he's a beautiful child (can I say that about a boy?) (just like his beautiful brothers!) so he can pull off any look. For sure. You know? I think it might be fun to mix things up and tell you what a terrible session I had. Or what rotten kids these were. And the parents? Forgetaboutit. But...I would be telling a big fat lie. The furthest thing from the truth. There is just more of the same here: Beautiful families that love, LOVE each other. And beautiful children with twinkles in their eyes. I'm so glad this adorable family was part of my marathon week. These guys are no stranger to JHP and I always look forward to their sessions. Cute as can be. I could not get over the colorful backdrop and gorgeous early morning weather. It often makes a world of difference when Dads get into the session...especially so when they aren't afraid to get goofy in order to make their kids laugh. It's a bummer that I can't see what's happening behind me and my lens. But I love the results!

The drive out to the country was breath taking this night. Loads of sunshiney goodness. Farmers harvesting their crops. Blue skies. Soft breezes. My kind of evening. My night just kept getting better, when I was greeted by these three beautiful ladies. We were minutes into our session, when Big Sister piped up with "I'm a Country Girl." Loved. It. I'm a country girl at heart, so you know these images make me smile.

I've been dying to show this family their cutie-pie-sneak-peeks. This gal is just darling. No big surprise, though, when you see her parents. I love these clients turned friends...when the sessions turn in to one hour catch up on life sessions, with some photography mixed in. It was a pleasure, family. Thanks for a great session!

This sweetheart is the little sister of one of our Baby Steppers. She's following right along in her sister's footsteps. Dark hair. Beautiful eyes. Precious. Sweet. Adorable. You get the idea, right? When photographing a newborn who is one month old it can get tricky. Newborns usually photograph best within days of birth. But we pulled out all of our tricks. And she did, too. :) In the end, we've got some beautiful photographs to remember just how sweet Anavie is.

After rescheduling due to the rain and gloom last week brought us, I was happily singing "Here Comes the Sun" this week. It's been just gorgeous, hasn't it? This is adorable little boy? He's one of our Baby Steppers. Look at him all cute and growing up fast. And big sister? She's a beauty. I loved my time spent with this beautiful young family on Wednesday evening and I love these images we came away with. Hope you love them, too, family!
