thank you | mishawaka child photography

Thanks for sharing in my excitement for The Organic Bloom frames! They are so fun and definitely unique. Don't forget about the giveaway. All order placed by May 30th are entered to win a free 8x8 or 8x10 Organic Bloom frame. Contact me for order information.

This weather is throwing me for a loop. Weather.com and the local newscasters have become my best friends. I've just got to say THANK YOU for being so flexible with reschedules and rainouts. For the most part, rescheduling is going very well. We've been able to shuffle plans and find room for everyone without much delay. Here's hoping that the nonstop rain and permacloud make their way out of town so we can continue with regular Spring weather programming.

the organic bloom | mishawaka photographer

New to Jenny Hoke Photography...The Organic Bloom. I'll give you a minute...or two...come back when you're ready. Ok, are these not take-your-breath-away-squeal-with-excitement beautiful?! I've always said JHP clients are the BEST! Well, one of our clients (Hi, Heather!) brought these beauts to my attention. These delightful frames are available for purchase through Jenny Hoke Photography. They offer all of the traditional sizes from ornaments sized at 2x3 to big and beautiful 30x40. Need a custom size, they offer that as well. You won't believe the delicious colors. You can't get these in stores, as they are only sold through photographers.

I'm having too much fun plugging your photos into these frames. With their amazing color offerings and variety of sizes and shapes the possibilities are really endless, friends.

Want to get your hands on one of these unique frames? Contact me for order information. And here's the fun part...All orders placed by May 30th (Reagan & Reilly's 8th birthday) will be entered into a drawing to win a free 8x8 or 8x10 in your choice of style and color!

homerun | south bend family photography

When I arrived and saw fresh lemonade with Mason jar glasses on the front porch and this handsome young man, I just knew we were going to hit a homerun that day. Owen was looking sharp with his linen suit coat and darling striped tie. And we took full advantage of the rare spring sunshine and had a fun time walking around their yard and neighborhood. Thanks for a fun session, family! I loved my time spent with you!

p.s. Wondering what to dress your little man in for his spring photo session? This fits the bill perfectly.

p.s.s More info on how you can order these fabulous frames coming soon. Don't tell anyone...but...there just might be a giveaway involved!!

it's a good day | elkhart, in baby photographer

Oh, goodness...where do I begin?! First of all, I can't help but smile as I drive up the tree-lined lane to this girl's gorgeous farmhouse. Just visiting makes me feel all warm and fuzzy. I can't imagine waking up there every morning. As I walked in the door, I was greeted with a sweet baby snuggling up close to her momma as she slowly woke from her morning nap. More warm fuzzies. Momma got her girl dressed and then we were ready to go. We sat her on the bed, momma popped out her pacifier and, friends, the rest is history. I shared on facebook the first (very.first.click.) image that we captured. Let's just say it was a good day.

Photographers everywhere are buying faux wood-plank floors and distressed brick wall backdrops. This, folks, is the real deal.

It's taking everything I have not to share the entire session with you. Just know that there are more gems where these came from. And let me tell you why I love what she's wearing. There's no collar to hide her little neck. No sleeves or socks to hide those soft little arms and perfect little toes. There are ruffles for texture. A yellow sweater for a pop of color. The polka dots and stripes mixed together are just the cherry on top.

Now, Sweet Hazel doesn't have an ornery bone in her body, but it looks to me like she's saying, "Babies...that's how it's done" in this outtake.

Finally, I'm thrilled...no beyond thrilled...for an upcoming announcement regarding these beautiful frames. Eek!

daffodil yellow | south bend child photographer

What a way to come off of Spring Break! Whew. This gorgeous little thing was a star at her Wednesday session. She's looked super cute with her daffodil yellow spring sweater and pink headband. It was so fun to spend a part of my day walking around campus with her and her momma. She sure has grown up since the first time I photographed her. Thanks for a super session, guys!

happy dancin' and smarties | culver, in family photographer

Some of my favorite facets of my job are meeting new people and exploring new areas of our community. On Wednesday, these parts collided in perfect fashion. I met up with this adorable family on the beautiful campus of the Culver Academies. The wind coming off of Lake Maxinkuckee was quite cold, so when they lead me into the warm (beautiful, quiet, sunshine pouring in, huge windows, with the entire place practically to ourselves) I was happy dancin'. For sure. With the promise of a few Smarties and a playdate at Preston's, these kids got the job done right! If only I could shoot with this backdrop every week. Thanks for a fabulous session, friends!
