Miss Natalie was just amazing at her Baby Step sitting session.  She was full of joy and smiles and just an all around perfect pumpkin.  The sweet curls on the back of her head were just bouncing away. The Conservatories proved again to be a great location during the colder winter months.  Thanks for a fun session, Natalie & Co.  I can't believe we'll soon meet for your ONE year Baby Step.  Times flies.

Another one of our beloved Baby Steppers has celebrated his first birthday!  This momma's boy has the most beautiful blue eyes and AMAZING long eyelashes.  Why does it seem like the boys always get those lashes?? :)  Not fair.  Happy Birthday, Graham!

Sometimes I'm more drawn to these serious face images.  Yes, the smiles and fun and cute.  But something about those big questioning eyes draws me in.  Her little finger getting ready to pop in her mouth.  Those pouty lips.  Love. Ashlyn is sitting up like such a big girl, so we met up for her second Baby Step session.  You know how I feel about my Baby Steppers.  All the love.

Henry's eight month Baby Step was so much fun!  I'm thinking the colors had something to do with it.  But, also, Henry and his adorable family.  So much fun to watch these little Baby Steppers grow through their first year of life.

Elsie is such a sweetheart.  She's almost seven months old, I believe.  We met up for her Baby Step "sitting" session last week, after rescheduling due to blizzard conditions on two previous occassions.  And what do you know, on the way there what started out as a sunny day drive turned into near white out conditions. Thankfully, it didn't last long and I was back to a sunny day drive within minutes.  Just goes to show you how crazy Indiana weather can be.

It is such a treat for me to visit with this little ones several times during their first year.  They are just precious. I gush and gush over each one.  Little children are a gift from God.

Elsie is a beloved member of the JHP Baby Step family and boy do we love her.  She is the sweetest gal and offered up so many gorgeous smiles.  Having not seen her since she was just days old, I was shocked by how much she's grown in six short months.  I mean, of course she's grown but it's always a surprise to me.  Scroll down to the last pic to see my fav from this session. ;)  Such a doll baby.

Are you ready for Monday?  MONDAY, MARCH 9, 2015 is Opening Day!  The day when I open my May through August 2015 to sessions.  I hold three Opening Days each year.  Then next one will take place in early July for the fall season.  More info regarding the Openings can be found under the Schedule tab above or scroll to the bottom and click Announcements under the Categories tab.  

SUMMER 2015 OPENING DAY DETAILS:

• I will begin scheduling limited May through August 2015 appointments via email on Monday,  March 9 @ 9AM.  
• This opening will be OPEN TO EVERYONE.  Existing clients and those new to JHP!
• At 9AM sharp on Monday morning :  email me with your interest, weekday/weekend preference, month preference, who will be photographed, location thoughts, etc.  I will respond with possible dates and times and you will respond with your choice.  I will respond in the order I receive the emails but will confirm with those who reply first. 
• Be sure to provide and email address that you have easy access to that afternoon/evening.
• Current prices found under investment tab.  Please note that there is no price increase at this time but I have transitioned to digital downloads rather than a disk sent in the mail.  If you would still like to purchase a disk, they are available for an additional $25.
• A $50 non-refundable deposit is due to confirm every appointment (EXcluding follow-up Baby Step appointments).  The deposit is due WITHIN 10 DAYS, after which I will open the date to others interested.  
• The next opening will take place in July for the fall season (August though November 2015).
• In the past, these openings have filled very quickly.  Please follow all the steps to better your chance at securing a session.  And please feel free to email me with any questions you have before Monday.

I just love watching this Baby Stepper grow.  He's changed so much since his session four months ago.  Seriously.  So. much.  As I work through this session, one of the things that stick out to me is that these images show Levi and his family in their home.   Not some studio or backdrop.  But the very walls that they look at day in and day out.  The couch where he learned to pull up to stand.  The corner where he shared his Cheerios with the dog.  True memories.    And I just love that.

I have a handful of openings in March and April if you'd like to get in before the summer rush.  Opening Day will be held on Monday, March 9.  I will begin scheduling May through August 2015 sessions at that time.  Details to follow.  Thanks for checking in!

This precious girl is the third Baby Step member of her cute little family.  It's such a joy to not only watch her grow through my lens, but an added bonus...I get to watch her two big brothers each time we meet for a session.  These people are such good people.  With huge hearts.  It's a honor to call them friends.  I only wish that you could hear the happy noises she's making.  What a dollbaby!
