caribbean | mishawaka child photographer

Friends.

It's been a week full of wet weather around here.

Very wet. And gloomy.

But the good news?

Next week is looking sunny! And that puts a smile on my face.

That means there will be tons of new posts here on the blog. So stay tuned.

Last week, we took a road trip and visited Mickey and his friends at Disney World. We had a super time and made tons of magical memories. These pictures were taken just after we had checked out of the Caribbean Beach Resort and were almost ready to head home.

Have you had a chance to hop on over to my NEW Facebook fan page and click "like"? With all of the new changes being implemented on facebook, I plan to transition to using this page.

those eyes | granger baby photographer

Oh, there's just something about those eyes. Those blue eyes. They just draw me in. Bright. Blue. Clear. Sparkly. I love my Baby Steppers, and especially my friend's children who happen to be in the Baby Step program. It was a treat to spend part of my morning in their full-of-love home. Can't wait to see how 8 months looks on you, little man. But don't be in a hurry. Take your time.

in love | south bend newborn photographer

There is no doubt about it. These parents are IN LOVE with their baby boy. I loved the time I spent with this family. I was especially struck with what a great team they make. This is one lucky fella, that's for sure. Stick around and you'll see him grow on his way to one year old.

swirl | nappanee baby photographer

Do you see that magnificent little swirl right at the top of this little boy's head? Momma said she noticed it right away when he was born. Those are the things that just melt my heart. That and those darling dimples. My goodness....sweetness abounds. I could not be more happy to welcome this pumpkin to JHP's Baby Steps. Can't wait to watch you grow!

big brother, little brother | elkhart baby photographer

This new baby brother, joins his older baby brother to make his family a party of 4. One thing's for sure, he is a sweet soul. Can you see that soft baby hair on his squishy cheeks? Melt. I can't wait to watch him grow this year! And this handsome guy below? He's 2! And we needed to document this adorableness.

they are keepers | granger family photographer

This family? They are keepers. So happy to call them friends. Thanks for a fun session, guys!

wavin' hi | south bend family photographer

This gorgeous little boy recently celebrated his very 1st birthday and he is a pro at wavin' hi. He greeted me with the wave, and several times throughout our session he'd pull out his favorite trick. He's sure got a way of melting hearts...if it's not the super sweet wave, it's those mile-long eyelashes that grace those baby blues. Thanks for a super session, family! It was great to meet you!

love | mishawaka family photographer

I love working with my former Baby Steppers. I love repeat clients. I love when sweet, adorable little girls warm up to my camera. I love when their baby brothers pause just long enough. And I love this watching this beautiful family grow up together. Thanks for a fun session!

an apple a day | goshen family and child photographer

An apple a day from these two darlings is surely the best medicine. I met up with this adorable family at the apple orchard earlier this week. It made for the perfect setting for Baby Brothers 6 month Baby Step session. Mom decided to add some individual photos of Big Sister and I'm thinking she made a brillant decision. This darlin' did such a good job, I think we should bestow her the honor of Apple Princess. I'm sure glad that fall follows summer. It makes it a bit easier to say good-bye. Thanks for a super session, family!

honest to goodness | south bend newborn photographer

Honest to goodness. It doesn't get much better than this, friends. This precious, brand-new little soul was so sleepy and so adorable. She was a mere 10 days old but she performed like a champ. I could not stop oohing and ahhing. So precious. Big Sis and Bro hold their own in that department, too. Beautiful, beautiful children. And I feel blessed to be able to work with them.
