I love meeting families and spending time with them. This family was one that I could have just kicked off my shoes and spent the entire afternoon hanging out with. Cool kids! And cool parents! This girl just may be thinking about a future in photography! She asked, "What's it like being a photographer?" To answer her question, "When I get to spend the afternoon with beautiful families like yours, I feel pretty lucky!"

I want to be like Patty when I grow up. I know her heart is just filled to the brim with love for her family. She's married to high school sweetheart, has seven beautiful children (who all live close by) and 6 adorable grandchildren, and her family is still growing with a new son-in-law next year. The list could go on and on, I'm sure. But let's just get to the pictures and you can see for yourself. Patty, the top picture is sort of an outtake but I love how it shows your happiness with the busyness around you.
