This handsome fella just turned one year old and with his one year Baby Step session in the books he is now an official Baby Step Graduate.  He's been such a treat for me this year.  Always just laid back and go-with-the-flow.  He's flashed me just enough of that gorgeous grin and dimples to melt my heart in a puddle.  And do you know what is the trick to get that smile?  His gorgeous momma, of course.  Thanks for a super year; I loved every bit of it!

Oh, it's fun watching this family grow.  We had a beautiful, sunshiney morning for our session last weekend.  And this little guy could not get enough of...everything.  He just had to check it ALL out.  Last time I checked "check everything out - leave no stone unturned" was in the job description for soon-to-be-two-year-old boys, though.  So we're good. 

opening day - fall 2012

I know we are thick in the middle of the lazy days of summer but it's almost time for Opening Day for JHP's September - November 2012 calendar.  MONDAY, JULY 9, 2012 is the BIG Day and here's what you need to know.

• I will begin scheduling limited September - November 2012 appointments via email on Monday, July 9 @ 9AM.

• This opening will be OPEN TO EVERYONE. Existing clients and those new to JHP!

• At 9AM sharp on Monday morning: email me with your interest, weekday/weekend preference, month preference, who will be photographed, package choice, location choice, etc. I will respond with possible dates and times and you'll respond with your choice. I will respond in the order I receive the emails but will confirm with those who reply first.

• Be sure to provide an email address that you have easy access to all day.

• Current prices found under the investment tab. Please note that prices remain the same.

• A $50 non-refundable deposit is due to confirm every appointment (excluding follow-up Baby Step appointments). The deposit is due within 10 days, after which I will open the date to others interested.

• The next opening will take place in November for January - April 2013.

• In the past, these openings have filled very fast. Please follow all of the steps to better your odds. And please feel free to email me with any questions you have before Monday. 

I count it such a privilege to help you preserve your precious memories.  Time passes so, so quickly and it is so important to capture your "now."  Thank you for everything!  I really have the best of Michiana as clients!

We rescheduled due to the heat and were blessed with another scorcher but with this gorgeous mom as our leader we forged ahead.  No sweat.  Well...maybe a little sweat.  How lucky am I to watch these beautiful kids grow up through my lens.  It's such a treat.  

I love the ways these guys love each other.  Lots of laughs.  And lots of fun.  Thanks for another fun session!!

Sweet Khloe is one of our own Baby Steppers and now that she is sitting up well we just had to meet to celebrate.  She had me at hello.  Honestly, as I walked in the door her momma and I were chatting while she was getting her pretty dress on.  Khloe was just smiling away at me, trying to catch my eye.  I knew then that we would have some fun!  This gal knows how to work the camera.  I was just laughing the whole time.  Couldn't get enough of this pumpkin.  I mean...just look at those baby blues.  Just like her daddy and grandma, momma said. 

Khloe, I just loved my visit with you and your sweet momma.  Thanks for being such a cutie.

These cuties were such a treat!!  I loved seeing them again, after a year or so.  The camera just loves them.  The cherry on top, for me, was meeting their newest cohort.  Just look at that BEAUTIFUL baby with the dark hair.  And those lips.  Momma tells me that she looks so much like her big sister did at that age.  Melt my heart.  I just can't get enough of these kiddos.
