So another one of my Baby Steppers has celebrated his 1st birthday. These birthday's are always bittersweet for me. It's so exciting and there's so much to celebrate, on one hand. And on the other hand, it causes me to think about our previous sessions documenting those special milestones. From precious, sleepy newborn to that dapper hat. Then the sitting up and that "look: at 9 months. Really, I'm blown away at just how fast the days can pass. So thankful for photos and images saved to help remember. It's been a great year, family. Hello, folks! Just had to share my cuties on their first day of 2nd grade (2 weeks ago). After the pictures, they asked if they could take the apples to their teacher. Love them. The school year is off to a terrific start! And ya'll have me busy, busy!! I've got some sneaks to post and some mail to get ready. Stay tuned for a beach sneak and some handsome little boys (and their parents). And, a charming one year old from this morning. You guys are the VERY best!

Well, in this case two + one = 5 when you count Momma and Daddy, too. I had so much fun getting to know these delightful children. When this gal sees a cupcake, all bets are off! Watch out. She's our newest Baby Step graduate and she couldn't be cuter. It's been so much fun to watch her grow from the 3 month old, who fell asleep during our first session, to this sweet cupcake. Thanks so much, guys. I loved every moment.

Baby girl has the cutest dimple. I went back to the Gardens to meet up with them for Baby girl's 2nd Baby Step. I just LOVE this place and this door. Love! Would you just look at those lovable baby rolls on her arms and legs?! She had just started sitting up the week before we met. I love it when my 6MO Baby Steppers are sitting. Get ready to smile, folks! I'm telling you...one look at this delightful smileyface and you'll be smiling right back at the screen. She is so cute. Strangers stop her mom and ooh and ahh over her curls and blue eyes. (I know, because it happened during the session.) She was thinking about playing shy but she wasn't fooling anyone. She can't hide that happiness.

You guys spoil me! These adorable little people, breath-taking newborns and beautiful loving families. My goondess...I'm one lucky gal.

I love it when an session feels more like catching up with old friends. I love it when there are big, puffy clouds soaring in the blue sky. I love it when there is a soft, cool breeze that carries the hot summer day away. I love it when the team (momma and daddy/photographer/dogs/passing trucks, silly words) is able to draw out those full-face, teethy grins. And I even love it when clever toddlers rejoice because the session is over. Even if the photographer is only heading back to her car for a blanket.

This baby boy and Curious George would be best friends. I just know it! It was a delight to see this lovable 6 month old, again. He was so curious about the world around him. So curious! You could just see those wheels turning. Mom and Dad are going to have so much fun seeing the world through this fella's eyes. How cute are these 3, by the way?!
