and the award goes to... | mishawaka family and baby photographer

This cute family gets the patience award. They've been patiently waiting for the sneak peek for too long. We met up last week at the site of Baby Girl's 9 month session. This time everyone joined in on the fun. I'm loving the smiles and grins!

After getting some computer work done, I'm back in business. So stay tuned for a bunch more sneaks.

The boys want to pose with the leaves? We'll pose with the leaves. And look...it turned out super cute! :)

blessed |cassopolis family photographer

So, I walk in and it's my favorite sort of setting. Football game on, kids playing on the floor, crockpots on, and everyone is gathered together. I love it when families get together and even more so when I get to photograph them! The rain threatened to ruin our plans but we made the best of it and got the job done! Isn't this a good-looking group of people? Thank so much for having me! Enjoy your sneak peek!

cutiepie alert | south bend baby photographer

Cutiepie alert! This little one traveled all the way from Wisconsin for her photo shoot (she may have been visiting her Grandma and Grandpa, too {wink}). She's a doll and definitely the apple of the entire family's eye. It was wonderful to meet you guys!

Stay tuned for one more sneak peek later today.

happy as a clam | mishawaka child and family photographer

Baby girl has just celebrated her 1 year birthday. She was happy as a clam when we met up last week. She's got a lot to be happy about. Namely, a momma and daddy who are head over heals in love with her. It so fun when you see those connections through the lens. What a wonderful way to spend a beautiful morning. Those dimples sealed the deal for me!

cutiefella |mishawaka family and child photographer

I can not believe that this cutiefella is 9 months old already. These Baby Steppers just seem to grow up at lighting speeds. I do believe that their mommas and daddies would agree. I enjoy seeing the changes that they are making, though. This milestone brought sitting up and blonde hair. He's still the same cute little "Do0-dee" boy though. ;) He's got a beautiful family. Wouldn't ya say?!

stinky feet | mishawaka child photographer

I love these boys. They are serious about picture taking, though. Super great for those soulful looks. But I knew momma would love to see their real, handsome smiles. So I did something that I rarely do (but just might more often after seeing these gems), I had to talk about stinky feet and other smelly things. They didn't quite know what to think at first, but it got the smiles and that's what's counts this time. Thanks for a fun morning, guys. Keep smilin', it looks good on ya. :D

happy boy | mishawaka child and family photographer

You can just see the happiness written all over his face. It's sort of contagious isn't it? This busy little boy was thrilled with the chance to run around the park. Doing his own thing, or so he thought. :) What a delightful afternoon, beautiful setting and a two parents in love with each other and their boy. Thanks for a fun shoot, family. Enjoy your sneak!

I'm off to pick up my girls. But there are a handful more super cute sneaks that are waiting to be shared. Busy, busy week! Stay tuned.

happy as the sun | south bend child photography

As I have pandora.com playing while I work, I often catch a lyric and it makes me think of the pictures I'm working on. So there's the title to my blogpost. :)

These two cuties had me "happy as the sun" earlier this week. Just look at those darlin' faces. And the outfits?? Yes, please. Mom (and Nana) did a fabulous job. Now this session had potential of being a disaster. I'm talking a trip (face first) down a flight of stairs, coming out of the trail that we had just spent the last 45 minutes down and realizing my keys were no longer in my pocket sort of stuff. But you know what? It wasn't a disaster at all. It was perfect. I mean, it'd be hard to go wrong with these two sisters.

she is amazing | lakeville family photographer

Here I go again with the HUGE sneak peek, but you already know why. Too much adorable. Have I told you about my friend, Melanie? I remember clearly the first time I saw her. She was walking down Shupe's 3rd floor hallway with her tennis practice shorts and tshirt. For me, there was an instant connection. A life long friend was born. We were placed together as freshmen roommates. That first night we stayed up talking into the wee hours of the night, filling each other in on our entire 17 years that were lived before meeting. So familiar. So right. And years later, so thankful for her friendship and her life. She is amazing. And so is her family.

so good to be together |osceola family photographer

Hello, Gorgeous Family! I'm having a hard time narrowing down my favorites lately. You guys are just too cute, so that means you get to see a bunch of sneak peek pics. These guys are always fun to work with. So, so nice and so adorable. How could I go wrong?! Thanks for a fun shoot, family!
