on your way | goshen baby photographer

I'm grateful that my week is so busy with reschedules and end of the school year activities (not to mention planning a super 7th birthday party for my twins). If I wasn't so busy it just might do me in...all of these Baby Step graduations. I, seriously, l o v e my job! Love it! I mean just look at this handsome young fella that I got to visit every so often this year. Thanks for sharing this year with me. You are on your way, buddy! :)

a crush | goshen baby photographer

Word on the street is that this sweetie has a crush on one of our very own Baby Steppers. They've already gone on long walks together. And when he thinks about her, he can't help but smile. :)

Babies...what can I say? So little. So soft. So sweet. I can't get enough. Thanks for sharing them with me for just a bit.

his next step | elkhart baby photographer

Say hello to the birthday boy! He's well on his way to conquering the world...or at least his next step.

One year old photo sessions are always a bit of work for us adults. Imagine that plus 1 million percent humidity and you get an idea of what we had going on. The sun was shining, though, and that was enough for me!

Okay, here it is...we've got a 1 year old birthday boy which means we've got a Baby Step graduation. My mind always flips through each session. The peace sign baby...remember that? And then the Notre Dame baby. That was this cutie! :)

I think the first year of life passes at a faster clip than most. I'm so grateful that I get to witness these important milestones with these precious babies and families. I love what I do!

goodness gracious | goshen child photographer

Goodness gracious was this a fun (but HOT and HUMID) session. I get to work with the cutest kids around!! Without a doubt. After rescheduling several times due to weather and whatnot, the planets aligned and it was definitely worth the wait. I had a hard time picking just a few to post. There are so many great ones. Thanks so much for braving the humidity, guys. As always, it was a pleasure. P.S. Did any of you recognize jhphotography's very 1st client? He was only days old when we first met. Now look at him. Super cute!

hello, happy | granger baby photographer

Hello, Happy Boy! Would you be surprised if I told you that I loved this session? After a few changes of plans we met up for a quick session last weekend and Happy Boy could not have done a better job! I love that we captured these smiles. You can't help but smile back when you see this toothy grin!!

happy birthday to you | granger baby photographer

Help me wish this 1 year old a happy 1st birthday, would ya? It's an amazing thing to watch these families grow.

Once these little ones learn to walk, it changes the photo session ballgame. Mom, Dad and I had a beautiful day for baby wrangling. :) Thanks, guys. It has been a pleasure working with you this past year! P.S. These boys are super cute...even when they think their photographer is super crazy. Just look at these adorable faces.

cheeks | south bend baby photographer

Look at these cheeks! I could hardly wipe the smile off my face. She's just the picture of baby goodness. Chubby cheeks, arm rolls, those big blue eyes and would you look at all of that hair! Just a doll! Thankfully, the rain gave way to two gorgeous days this week. I took full advantage of them. Stay tuned for another adorable sneak peek later today.

8 days old | mishawaka newborn photographer

Welcome to the world, little one. This is what 8 days old looks like, folks. I just love how family and friends gather around to welcome these newborns. It just adds to the "something special" in the air. When walking into these homes, I want to whisper and walk slowly. Tread lightly to not disrupt the "something special" in the air. What a precious time! I just want to soak it up. I count it such a privilege that I get to share in these welcomes.

This handsome boy joins 2 big sisters to make this a family of 5. You can tell that he belongs. He looks a lot like both of his sisters. Welcome, again, baby boy. It was such a pleasure to meet you!

sparkle | mishawaka baby photographer

Would you look at the way her eyes sparkle?! I was thrilled that her eyes were picking up all those natural light catchlights. It was a little bit gloomy yesterday afternoon which can be a good thing, but I was a little concerned about the eyes. But I was doing a little happy dance when I saw how her eyes sparkled. Love this age! She's almost 9 months old and was such a little star. Way to go, Pumpkin!

souful | elkhart baby photographer

I can't believe how quickly time passes between Baby Step sessions! It just amazes me. That first year of a baby's life just flies by. We met up for this little buddy's 6 month session yesterday. He's definitely a pro at the "soulful" stare. You've got to see Big Sis's adorable hat. I'm told that it was (I think I'm getting this right?) her grandma's hat from childhood. Isn't that neat? So special that she gets to wear it and it's not packed up in some box in the attic. She wears it so well!

baby bubbles |granger baby photographer

Please welcome our newest Baby Stepper to the jennyhoke photography family. Isn't she a cutie?! These first time parents are such a great team and are definitely smitten with their first born. And I dare say that the feelings are mutual. She read her mommy's face for reassurance when we laid her in the comfy bean bag. And she let her mommy know when she was done. being a model. If only it was always that easy to communicate with a newborn. I am looking forward to watching this one grow. Stay tuned for 6, 9 & 12 months!

blue | wakarusa baby photographer

I said last week that I had a thing for yellow...and I still do. But after seeing these, you can add blue to that list. Actually, my last 3 session have used blue and I'm loving the blue, for sure. Folks, little boys do not come cuter than this. Goodness! We had a sunshine and blue skies for our walk in the park. Baby Brother has turned one. You know what that means around here... Baby Step Graduation. Cue the Pomp and Circumstance. It's truly been a pleasure to meet and work with this little guy and his family. God Bless you little one!
